A Flowmaster is always good for a deep rumbling sound. I run a Thrush Welded muffler on mine. It's basically a 2 chamber Flowmaster knockoff. It's not overly loud but mine is kind of boomy since its dumped in front of the axle.
Cheapest route is to buy a muffler and have a turn down put on it in front of the rear axle. Then you don't have to worry about buying tips and keeping them clean. I prefer the look of not having any pipes sticking out. You could probably stay under $100 going this route. I have $30 in my exhaust. I paid for the muffler and welded it on in my driveway.
If you want dual exhaust, $300 should probably cover it but its been a few years since I priced it. Just go to YouTube and watch videos. Flowmaster and Magnaflow are probably the most popular but there are several others to choose from.
A chambered muffler like a Flowmaster usually has a deep, more throaty sound, and resonates in the cab more.
A straight through muffler like a Magnaflow is usually a smoother more refined sound. I like both and have been considering a switch to Magnaflow soon. Mostly just for a little change.
