Default need it louder

I have a 92 4.0 auto trans. I used to have a 97 3.0 5 speed with a flowie super 44 and it had a deep rumble to it and sounded pretty awesome when you got on it. I put the exact same muffler with the same set up on my 92. And with a bigger motor i thought it would sound at least the same as my other truck if not better. Since then ive put a thrush welded and a 40 series on it. But nothing is seeming to give it that rumble. Its loud as all hell but no umf to it. Just loud. I was wondering what i could do to give it that rumble other than taking off a plug wire. Any ideas would be great

I was thinkin about takin out the cats. But i do all my own welding. I dont trust my self enough to bend the pipe right and dont have enough money to take it to the exhaust shop. I also heard heads tend to decrease horse power.

New heads aren't going to do much, removing the cats is not the answer. If anything, try a flowmaster 10

If you want something loud try a cherry bond extreme 1 in 2 out, or if you want something with a very nice rumble keep the flow master and remove the cats, or get new cats...

The ones in this thread. I have a 4.0 with the FM 40 and like it, but it isn't super loud. I know the FM 10 series is pretty race car shit. It's a v6 not a v8...you are only going to get so much rumble
