Default Cherry Bomb Glasspack

Hi. I am looking to put a cherrybomb glasspack muffler on my mazda b2300 and I was wondering if the tube diameter is the same as a ranger's? it's an 03 btw. And also, with the glasspack, it just replaces the stock muffler correct?

well thankfully im not a trailer park guy lol... Also, if my outside tube diameter is 2 inches, should I get a cherry bomb with a 2 and 1/4 inch inlet so it could fit around the tube? or would the 2 inch fit?

2 1/4" kinda hard to fit 2" into 2", that sounded like a trailer park remark

alright man enough with the trailer park crap, i live in a normal house... so what i'm getting out of this is that when i order an exhaust, it should be a quarter inch bigger than the exhaust pipe? I'm asking this because i was thinking that maybe the company measured the inside diameter of the muffler... which would make sense because it would make it a lot more straight forward... but i'm new to the whole exhaust system thing

Wouldn't you buy the same size muffler as the pipe then use an expander to fit the pipe snug over the muffler? at least thats how I would do it or how a shop would probably do it if you took it to them.

Why make it a multi part step? you install the right size to fit the 2 pieces together. I have had many systems installed and for the most part the only time they use an expander is when they dont have the right fit of muffler or cat and on long run custom bent tubes where 2 of the same size run into each other

The trailer park jokes come from the fact that I have yet to see a cherry bomb on anything but a wanna be beat to crap vehicle. They are a waste of money.

if yo put glasspacks on a ranger without a v8, it will sound like rice, a normal straight sounds kinda better. You'll just have to search the web for exhaust vids for the one you like

x2 but you'll never be able to tell the true sound of an exhaust from a video. basically just have to go by word of mouth lol

Glasspacks are GAY no matter what you put them on, they are the top tier of CHEAP poor quality sound.

i beg to differ you but glasspacks on a truck you want to be loud and sound bad ass if you have ever heard an oldschool big block with glasspacks on them then you would deffently not be saying anything close to that.. not many exhaust systems let you shake the whole house when the truck is idleing in the garage
