Default golf tee mod

anybody heard of the golf tee mod?

i guess its drilling a hole through your exaust and bolting a bolt through, about 1.5-2 ft from the end.

unburnt gas gathers on the bolt while on the throttle and when you let off it burns?....

supposed to get more of what i call "back gurgle" lol

anybody?

easy cheap mod. no golf tees though haha

i think thats more of a BMW mod only for something specific in their exhaust:

That is a stupid idea. I feel sadened to think that we live in a society where someone would come up with this idea, and more so that other people would believe it. You sir, have caused me to lose all hope in humanity.

well actually if you look at the link that i posted, the mod is not exactly what the OP described. It is actually for something specific in a BMW's exhaust. This is not a mod for any old car.

x2..... im still trying to figure out how or in what world unburnt fuel(which is a liquid) would collect on a bolt in the exhaust and somehow magically go back into the engine to be burned later????

i def understand the bmw mod though but do we have an exhaust flapper valve like that?

X2

What the op said is nothing like the link above. The link makes sense. A bolt through the exhaust sounds like a place for rust to start and eat away at the exhaust.

Golf tee mod only works on vaccum opperated mufflers

if you want flames to come out your exhaust remove the cat and put on a flame thrower kit.

for the best back gurgle i like to heat the pipe before the muffler and crush it so barely any exhaust can get through. awesome flame thrower effect from all the built up unburned gas and teh sweet sex backpressure for plus 7.356 mpg on 81 octanze.

it wouldent go back into the engine and burn.. the gas would build up, and then ignite on the hot exaust pipe.

It wouldn't ignite. The gasoline vapor which is what ignites would get blown out with the other exhaust gases, and not collect on the bolt. the only thing that might collect on the bolt would be carbon buildup, which you shouldn't have in the first place, if your engine is running properly. Ever tried to light carbon build up on fire? It's not very easy.
