Ok so i'm looking to get a new muffler on my 2001 v6 3.0 ford ranger i just had a flowmaster 40 put on and its a little to quite for my taste so the muffler shop said they would put a different on for me but what muffler will give me that aggressive grumble people will hear as i pull up to them or as i drive out a parking lot

40 is loud enough lol super 44 is the loudest flowmaster exhaust. after that you go with another company. the exhaust will get louder with time. after it burns the crap out of it. if you want loud dump the 40 series and save you money without buying another exhaust. here is mine i had it done back in may. 3.0 v6

well they said they would replace it for free they were even disappointed in how low the engine sounded lol

Just a flowmaster switched in? Sounds pretty beefy for a 3.0.Magnaflow is supposed to be freeier sp flowing muffler. Anyone have a flowmaster on a 4.0 SOHC.
