Double x pipe straight pipe
My buddy has a firebird straight pipe but he has it coming out the headers into a big x then the pipes go straight back then a good 2 feet before back of bumper has another x and then the pipe is is ran out like two exhaust tips Like this kinda X=X=....... Has anyone done this to there ranger??

I have a 99 3.0 xlt FORD ranger 2wd I replaced the heads on it wires, plugs, water pump, timing chain, cam position sensor,coil pack,rear end,ball joints all 4,rack n pinion,left spindle, two rotors pads, speedometer, all new speakers kenwood 500 wats,hood,fender,grill,blinker,headlight,bumper,ta il light,3inch lift in back, 2 inch lift in front,air box mod, fuel filter, egr valve, o2 sensors,starter,front wheel bearings,radio harness,neons in and under, subs,new radio,

K&N drop in filter, 2.5" exhaust after catalytic converter to a Thrush Welded muffler, pipe exits at stock location.

No benefit at all with using two X's. The X is a great addition to a dual exhaust setup though but you only need one. It helps scavenging and also creates great sound.
OP, It is possible but not needed. IMO a set of Pacesetters with and xpipe and two bullet mufflers with side exit tips is the best sound. But that's just me.
