hey everyone i have a 2.3l and i was wondering if a thrush welded exhaust would sound deep enough. i am looking for a deep sound, yet cheap. i dont want it to sound like a race car i just want it to sound deeep. i was thinking a thrush welded peice...what do you guys think

I dont think ive ever heard a thrush welded on a 4cyl. No matter what you wont get to deeep. Go for it! My gibson sounds great IMO but everyone thinks their exhaust sound great.

The cat back was around $300 installed, with 2 1/2 pipe.

It all depends on how long your glasspack is and how much piping is after it... I have a 26 inch with the pipes y-ed into duals after it and it sounds deep.

The shop that did my muffler quoted me about $95 for cat back 2.5" piping but I supplied the muffler
