I will have to look at mine to see if there are bolts. If i remember mine is welded on since i got dual exhuast and the shops basic muffler

back to basics, i have a '02 XLT 3.0 and i am getting a "cat back" exhaust put in here in FL. I'm going w/ a 2.25" center inlet/dual 2" outlets in a Fflowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow. by crawling under and giving a quick visual, i see a TON of cats on the factory y pipes/headers, only 1 (the last) o2 sensor is visible, it's after the 2 cats on each factory header feed into a single pipe, then ONE MORE cat THEN a last o2 sensor THEN another cat then some pipe, then the factory muffler, etc. I at LEAST am going to remove the last cat after the last o2 sensor and replace that easily accesible o2 sensor i see while its in the air at the shop. can i or should I try and get rid of the cat just before the last o2 sensor and just have the cats on the factory headers and tap into the new tubing w/ the new Bosch o2 sensor i have??? or is that a disaster? i'm dead set on at the very least getting rid of the last cat downstream from the final o2 sensor, TOTAL OVERKILL!!! comments please, i'm new to the FORD family.....
