Default Dynomax super turbo or ultra flow

Im going to be grabbing a dynomax catback soon- and was wondering if the ultraflow was a big difference in sound over the super turbo... i know its stainless and would hold up much better-anybody got an opinion?

They've got sound clips on their site. The Super Turbo is quieter and more mellow. The Ultra Flow is louder. It depends on what you want. A local shop around here said they stopped using Dynomax and Borla because they blow out easily and recommended Flowmaster. Flowmasters are too common so I went with the Dynomax anyway and had my friends dad put it on. I've got their Bullet glasspack dumped before the rear axle and love it. It finally broke in and sounds throaty.

I have the Super Turbo on mine. Ran 2.5" tubing from the cat back and out the side like stock. It only cost me $128. They should have a lifetime warranty on the muffler. The guy that did mine told me to hold on to the receipt and if anything ever happens to it they will take care of it.

I had the Dynomax Ultra Flo Oval on my truck. It was actually the first muffler I put on it because Summit had a $50 rebate on the $70 muffler. It is a very free flowing muffler and power was great. BUT....it wasn't what I wanted. If loudness was on a scale of 1-10 with stock being 1 and flowmaster being 10, the Ultra Flo oval lands right about a 4. Very mellow, very tame muffler....but it did sound good, just wasn't what I was after. If you're after a very efficient muffler with a little bit better sound, go Ultra Flo Oval.

Sidenote: I took my flowmaster off a few months ago because I got sick of it being dumped(no tailpipes), so I put the Ultra Flo back on it(turned down this time) and boy oh boy....I couldn't even hear the darn truck running!! All I could hear was engine, not exhaust. VERY quiet compared to flowmaster.
