Hey everyone. I was wondering if there is a way I could make my stock exhaust louder without spending alot of money. Since I am a student and all I don't wanna be spending alot for a new throaty bolt on system or a new flowmaster or glass pack. Any ideas guys?

nah dont do that trust me you'll go deaf. cut the muffler off and if you want go to auto zone and get a thrush glass pack they're like $25 and sound just as good as flowmasters. all i did on mine was cut from the muffler back off and gutted the cats. if you unbolt it from the cats all your fumes are in the cab and you wont be able to hear yourself think. hope this helps some

I've always wanted to try flowmaster 10s on mine after my x pipe. Just never got around too it. From what I've heard on YouTube they sound good as just a stock muffler replacement too

when i had glass packs on my truck it sounded like a import above 2.5k rpms

If you got a 4 banger its going to sound like that no matter what.



To OP just cut off the tail pipe. Have it dumped. Or glasspack it. They are cheap and sound good. I would not say they sound like a flowmaster though as they give you two distictive sounds. The longer the glasspack the better.

I got the 4.0 and it sounded like that after 3k

I wouldnt say import either, it just sounded like a v6 not a v8.

That shit is LOUD. got bored the other day so i just took it off and drove around like that for a couple days. sounded amazing, but then i wanted to listen to my music again so i put my exhaust back on. makes my glasspack sound quiet as hell. cant even hear it anymore.

What size inlet/outlet did you guys get for your glasspack?

I have no cat's and a raptor flotech with turndown. I love the sound it is deep and smooth.

Drill a hole in your muffler.
