Default 97 ranger need exhaust and advice

Hey Guys been quite a while since I have posted. I pulled the bed off my 97 ranger over the winter cleaned up the frame with a little por-15 and a couple coats of bedliner. Just installed new stainless steel brake lines and now need to do the exhaust. Id like to do stainless steel but an pretty open to other ideas. Im not worried about sound just durability as my daughter will start driving this in about 3 years. But hey having it sound good wouldnt hurt would it. Well any advice is welcome and if you know a good place to buy as well. Thanks for the help.

I would definatly reccomend stainless steel and mandrel bends if you can find someone to do it and afford it. It looks so much better that way. As far as sound do you want loud or just a different tone to it? Also are you redoing from cat back or muffler back or manifolds back? If you want loud do super 10 series or cherry bomb extreme or super 44. If you want between loud and quiet I would say 40 series. If you want a small sound improvement over stock I would go with 50 series maybe or a magnaflow. I'm not positive on what those will sound like but I do know how to make things loud so hopefully someone else will chime in on how to get a nice rumble without being too loud. Also check out the exhaust video thread to get an idea of what you want your truck to sound like

Spoke to soon. If I can get a little rumble that would be nice but quiet doesnt bother me.

If you give me a week I'll tell you how the Gibson split side exit is. I was not looking for loud just a nice change in tone.....hope I get it.

Ya check other the exhaust video thread. For rumble without being too loud I'd say 50 series or magnaflow maybe a thrush but I can't say for sure what those sound like
