what if i drill another hole in my stock muffler and make it look like a duel sport exhaus.

Tansmissioms really don't have anything to do with it. Go I YouTube and look up some systems for the 2.3 but no matte what you wont get that v8 sound you are looking for. It sounds etter with a v6.

The reason why v8's sound like they do is because (idk why) they have kind of a staggered firing order. If you number bank 1 on a v8 from back to front 1234 and on bank 2 you number back to front 5678 the engine might fire in a 1-7-2-8-3-5-4-6 order. Where as a v6 would fire from bac to front in a z formation. Example bank 1 123 bank 2 456 it would fire 1-4-2-5-3-6. l4 fire middle pistons then outer.

Sorry not firing order, I ment the order in which the pistons move.

Look into magnaflow. Flowmaster usually makes mufflers that have a loud grumble to them. Magnaflow has a more quieter tone from what I have experienced.
