Question DTC: EGR Valve Insufficiant Flow

Ok, so my 95 has the check engine light on, and has for a while now, so about 8 months ago I took it into the autotech class I attended. I put it on the computer and ran the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) and it came back with EGR valve insufficant flow..I replaced the EGR with a brand new one straight from the dealership, replaced all the sensors, cleared the code. Than about after driving 10 miles the light came back on, so I ran the codes again and it came up with the same thing. Now I'm wondering what's wrong with my ranger, if I use the defrost, or the AC when I'm driving the idle will randomly kick up around 1000 RPM above normal. Its reallt getting on my nerves because I hate feeling like I'm driving a clunker when really that's the only thing that's wrong with it (besides my armrest falling off)

Wow, cant believe no one tackled this one yet.....
Firstly, Check the EGR line that runs from below the EGR valve, down to the exhaust, its usually clogged. Also, I dont know if there on the 95, but I replaced the DPFE sensor on my 98 3.0, and unclogged the 2 lines running from there.
2ndly, your higher rpms isnt too uncommon but I dont remember a solution. ?SORRY?
Remember the AC will come on in Defrost mode, in any temp set.

How would I go about unclogging the line from the egr to the exhaust, that was my guess for the problem. I've just been too lazy to do it.
