I did mine myself and it's time consuming, but better than paying $75 plus the cost of materials to have it done by someone else when I have all the skills to do it on my own.

Re: **Show off your side exhaust**
That's the problem, I can't weld. I guess I could take then muffler and tips to an exhaust shop and get them to weld it up. For all you guys that have dual tips, do you have dual out mufflers or is it just the tip?

Re: **Show off your side exhaust**
brad's is the win... if i hadn't paid so damn much for duals, i'd hack them off and do it that way. even though it wouldn't look the same since i'm bodylifted. the duals were my only option.

Has anyone done this using a turndown setup? I'm getting mbrp turndown and want to turn the "turn down" pipe to face sideways, and extend it. Would that work you think?

Re: **Show off your side exhaust**
Yes. I have a 5.0 with both right and left side going into a single muffler (duel in). I then have 2 separate pipes coming out of the muffler and turning abruptly to the front of the tire. The 3 inch slant cuts slipped over the pipes and are welded in place. The duel in/duel out muffler is a Magnaflow and the system sounds pretty throaty. On the highway in 5th gear you just hear a slight rumble. Perfect for me.

Re: **Show off your side exhaust**
Well that makes sense then, I might just get the single in dual out and run that same setup. And do you have any write up on your engine and tranny swap, I am kind of interested in putting that same set up in my truck eventually.

Yes. Go to the Ranger Power Sports forum, under the V8 section. I am the 5.0 into 2002 guy. I try to keep it alive daily with some kind of entry.
