It depends, If you want a good sounding exhaust, the best I can tell you is to look at some videos on youtube of exhaust setups with cherry bombs, I have one on my 97 2.3, and my 86 2.9, and love them both lol. But its your decision if you like the sound or not

no they sound like crap on everything a loud cracking and popping sound. get a gibson or any other MUFFLER not a glasspack or straight flow "muffler"

if you want something cheap but decent and not too terribly loud go down to advance and get a thrush turbo. but like the guys here said, its up to you, everyone has a different opinion on what sounds good

I have a Thrush glasspack that was $30 installed. I like it. It doesn't have a nice deep sound but I don't think exhaust will help since I have don't have a big engine. Z3CHYD is right. YouTube is good and some manufacturers have sound clips to listen to as well.

I don't think Cherry Bomb mufflers have a place on any car with a self-respecting owner, but that's just my opinion. Each person has their own tastes.

I, personally, would try a single chamber magnaflow (i know what you're thinking... magnaflow? really?) but trust me.. i have 2.5in piping with this muffler and it sounds awesome! but, too each his own..

when i was in my auto tech class, there was a guy who brought the parts in for napa, and his newer 3.0 ranger had a gibson deep tone exhaust system that sounded like a ford 5.0

Ive had my cherrybomb for 6 years and I love it! I have tried other exhausts but to me nothin has beat the sound of my cherrybomb. Over the years it has just gotten a better sound to it. I have a 94 ranger also and it sounds great.

I have a glasspack, and it's okay. Sounded better dumped than side exit. Debating straight piping, but I'm not sure yet.
