Default Pace Setter Exhuast

I found a pace setter exhaust system for my truck online yesterday and was wandering if anyone knows anything about em. Are they good? I know probably nowhere near as awesome as a flowmaster BUT I cant seem to find a full exhaust system from flowmaster for the 3.0l v6 so I might have to settle for this. Now if I get the pace setter and don't necessarily like the sound would getting a flowmaster muffler help me get the sound I want or will I have to stick with whatever the pace setters sound like?

I have a question before I provide any input:

When i hear the words "Full exhaust system" what I see in my brain is a "head back" - is that what your getting?

Im guessing by head back you mean like headers and all? I guess I should've probably thought about that before I said "full" but its just an exhuast (pipping and muffler and all) sorry bout that

actually too now that I think about it most of the things I'm looking at weren't headers and all for the trucks its just the exhaust pipping and mufflers but a majority of them are for the 4.0l not the 3.0l maybe thats what I should've said instead ... either way finding part for the 3.0 isnt as easy as Im guessing the 4.0 engines

Depending on the price on the cat or muffler back system I would check with your local exhaust shops. I got a 2.5" cat back mandrel bent exhaust with a turbo muffler for $128 out the door. The turbo muffler is from thrush and has the sound I like. Its just a little louder than stock and that's the way I like it. Also 2.5" piping for the 3.0 is probably a lil over kill but o well.

You don't want to slow the exhaust down. Minimizing backpressure is good but if you go too big it will slow down the flow. You want to keep the flow as fast as possible without creating turbulence or excessive backpressure.
