MBRP exhaust on 2003 ranger 4.0 SOHC! Big YES!
I just got done putting the exhaust on my truck, and wow, it is awesome, not too loud, no drone, sounds really good. I highly suggest this setup. My truck is a supercab FX4 L2, maybe short cab might be more cab noise, I don't know, but for me, excellent.
I will try to post a video soon, I have a family issue right now, I plan to do some drive bys, look over the install, etc. Only issue I had was how the package came, it was beat to hell, but everything inside was in good shape, a few marks on the "muffler" but no one sees that. They have really nice clamps with it, full band type, not the bent rod style. Fitment was really good, took some adjusting, I recommend following the instructions, that was easier than my first run which was not even looking at them. Only had it on a day, so no clue about gains or losses yet. So excited how it came out, just had to do this post, look for more to come soon! I promise a good video on its sound and such!
