The sensor was crushed & NO THREADS on the sensor itself. WHAT a freakin MORON that had this truck B4 me! The sensor that WAS there, obviously had NOT worked in a long time! Anyway, installed the NEW sensor (Yes, the threads were in excellent & UNused condition!), reset the CEL & NOW, on occasion, like after about 30-50 miles I get a code # P0401: Insufficient egr flow. The EGR valve is new, less than 2 weeks old.
ANY ideas on that 1?
Thanks in advance!
I also AGGREE! THIS is the best site I've EVER been on in my life!
the egr valves rarely go bad. they can get dirty and need to be cleaned. your p0401 is probably from a bad dpfe sensor. look that the hoses are not cracked and connected. if they are fine its the dpfe sensor itself.
