from memory i think it is the high 50's to low 70's. if yours is 100 that is prob your problem

just found records. 65 psi on the fuel rail

what was the actual code for the o2 sensor. the #

don't know code .knects comp translates code on comp. and didn't say numbers.
fuel psi test key on. i think.

if it was my truck I would want to know fuel pressure off and on and next time the cel goes on see if you can go to a place that will give you the actual # there are more than one o2 codes

Ya there are 14 O2 codes
Then there are 4 codes for fuel
2 for bank 1 and 2 for bank 2

IF this is true, I just replaced the WRONG SENSOR!

bank 2 sensor 1 is Drivers side precat.(upstream) for fords

this thread got confusing but you should post the actual code number next time.........a lot of people will get a p0174 and think it is the o2 sensor.it usually is not

if its a v6 bank 2 is the drivers side and bank one is the passanger side. sensor 1 is up stream and sensor 2 is down stream.

Well, I'll be dammed! Learn something new EVERY day! THAT could possibly be the reason WHY my CEL is back on! (I mechanic on a daily basis, & sometimes get confused on which bank is which!)

HERE's y'all 1!

Replaced the B2S1 O2 sensor on my Ranger today. Some IDIOT had added a spotweld on the sensor to the pipe! The sensor was crushed & NO THREADS on the sensor itself. WHAT a freakin MORON that had this truck B4 me! The sensor that WAS there, obviously had NOT worked in a long time! Anyway, installed the NEW sensor (Yes, the threads were in excellent & UNused condition!), reset the CEL & NOW, on occasion, like after about 30-50 miles I get a code # P0401: Insufficient egr flow. The EGR valve is new, less than 2 weeks old.

ANY ideas on that 1?
