Default Is removing and replacing stock exhaust difficult?

My exhaust just broke so i want to remove the exhaust from a junked ranger and putting it on my ranger 1989, I'm just wondering if i can do it myself and how much time can it takes.Thanks.

a couple of bolts. hardest part is removing the rubber hangers. easiest thing is to cut them, then get new rubber bits at an auto parts store

Not hard at all. You should be able to do it from the catalytic converter back in about 2 hours.
