what size is it?
i am going to do my hole exhaust from the collector at the bottom of the header to tip. i am going to do a flowmaster 44, but i was woundering what size the collector is? i want to do 2.5 all the way and i don't know if i am going to keep the cat on or not? what do you all think?

Di you have emissions testing?? Will need the cats for that. I would say just cut off the old muffler and weld on the new one in its place.

i live in fl i don't have to worry about emissions..lol......yet. and i would like to go to 2.5 inch, but i would like to find out what size stock is

Federal law, pollution, and they're not a really a bottleneck to your trucks breathing. Some might tell you otherwise, but I've seen and heard way more people say that they're not that restrictive.

I leave the cats on my stuff, they really aren't that restrictive. If you think they are get some high flow units. I know cherry bomb makes some but IDK any one else that might. Plus if push comes to shove, you pissed off the trooper and he's going to tear every part of your truck apart and give you a ticket for it for whatever reason you can face huge fines for not having cats regardless of state.
