Default exhaust help

i dislike the stock tailpipe/ so if i cut it off at the muffler wil i use bak pressure which will include performance?how will it sound? and to dump it would i just weld ann elbow to it?

The sound won't change much, but just a shade louder and that's about it. The stock muffler aint really that good in terms of performance, style, and sound. You need to consider the aftermarket for a better exhaust system and set up.

main objective is get rid of tailpipe without a new muffler or losing performance, MPGs and being loud

if i just cut the tailpipe will i lose performance ?

Nope you won't. In fact that's about all you'll gain very little if any thing.

Yep you're right. That's mainly the reason people change their exhaust systems; performance and sound.

You're talking about removing the pipe after the muffler? Of course that's not going to do anything.
