I recently got a new Ranger (Its used, 1996 model BTW). My old one had a distinct sound to it, that sounded almost like a crappy motorcycle (Everyone hated it except me ). It had the same standard parts, except it was missing a catalytic converter. My current Ranger has a Catalytic Converter and is relatively quiet.

I was wondering if the is a way to increase the overall obnoxiousness without resorting to buying new parts.
