Well I got a 40 series flowmaster and i added a exhaust tip. Looks like they cut the other and put a nice 1 for 30$ but it seems that when I look inside I can see some day light is this ok.?? And will it affect my sound.

Do you mean you can see light through the tip? If so, this won't matter much. Is it a weld on tip?

it appears to be welded on behind the actual end of the exhaust. You're legit.

alright 1 more question. when i asked the guy if its a real 40 series and how can i know..he gave me some number. but anyways it was black. but he said something i dont know lol. but when he installed it seemed to get scratched because it's black..can this because of the welding hitting my flowmaster

Got a pic of the muffler? There may be a part number on it too. If you have the number, google it. Who cares if its scratched? Its under the truck.

That's a shit job,Sorry but I would have never let that out of my shop.It's only tac-welded on, looks like.

What is tac welded on. And the rest of the tip is good welded its just the area next to the top.

The tip is just tac welded on, which means its not a full bead all the way around.
