Magnaflow vs. Flowmaster
I am a big fan of Flowmaster. Once I bought my first one, I ran them on everything. That was until this spring..I needed to buy mufflers for my ranger and decided to try something different. I went on youtube to listen to a bunch of different combos and decided on Magnaflows.
I couldn't be happier! The Magnaflows do not drone at all! They have a nice sound at low RPM. It sound good but not too loud. Step into the gas (loud) pedal and it's like turning up the volume. I'm really happy with the Magnaflows.
Here are a couple videos. I'll say I'm sorry in advance because the audio kinda sucks. I used an old digital camera.

Tyler, best bet would be to check youtube for clips of them on your engine.

It's all personal preference. There is no clear "winner".

Yeah I don't know about a four cylinder sounding good. I have heard a couple of V6's that had sweet sounding exhaust tho...

i have a Flowmaster Delta 40 series on my 4 cylinder and it sounds amazing
most people things its a 6 cylinder at first because of how deep it sounds.
once i get it in 4gear it really gets low and sounds good.

Re: Magnaflow vs. Flowmaster
My friend owns a muffler shop, he used to always keep flowmasters in stock but now he keeps magnaflows. For some reason the flowmaster mufflers arent being made as good as they used to be, they rust out really bad and the plates break in them. And flowmasers dont come with a warranty magnaflows do.
