Muffler/Exhaust question
I have 2 questions.
1.) What size pipe is the exhaust on my 2003 Mazda B3000 DS? 2.) Would just replacing the muffler give the exhaust a deeper sound rather than buying a full exhuast (which i dont have the $$ for)????? Thanks for your help in advance!

Would you recommend any particular muffler that give a good sound? -------------- Actually another question, my stock exhaust piping is 2.25?

I see alot of mufflers by thrush or the chrry-bombs...any remarks on them two? They are cheaper..

well i just bought a cherry bomb glasspack...2.25 in and 2.25 out...and a exhaust tip..lets see how this works...any comments or concerns about taking off the stock muffler? It looks like it needs cut...

Are you keeping all the stock piping? If so, you need to make sure the glasspack is longer than the muffler, and also need to make sure the offsets are right, otherwise its gonna be a pain to install.
Also, a glasspack is really only a resonator. I had one on mine, and up in the upper rpms, it sounded ricey, i got rid of it and have a thrush welded now.

yeah keeping stock pipe...removing the muffler...it looks basically like striaght pipefrom the front of the muffler to the back before the bend over the rear axle..so i was gonna fit it in there and yes its longer than the stock muffler...
Its ok. ima gonna have this exhaust until i can save up to buy the gibson dual that i want.
