umm well I saw a whole piece on the SPEED channel about how rugged liner when applied right can withstand anything pritty much It has little rubber particles for impact and its perfect for moist condtions you can put on your bumpers, bed, hell you can apply it to your entire truck if you want.

and going back to the subject of the thread (sorry I intitially went of topic) mine looks similar to your maybe a tad higher but I wouldn't worry about it it doesn't look like its dragging all that much

the newer rangers have this undercoating already applied when they leave the factory. i think they bake it to the frame so it sticks. but over time (3 years or so) it starts to come off in small pieces usually via dirt and powerwashing. im working on replacing mine with some 3M undercoating soon.

well im planning on getting a dynomax cat back kit installed this week. $295 for parts and install so its worth it, plus their waranty.

where do you think they would start from, right at the weld next to the cat or at that donut?

Lol, looks like it was replaced at one time and the person doing it looks to have twisted the pipe in a downward position...i wouldn't worry too much if your gonna replace it soon!

I have an 06' and it seems to be tucked up close to the body

I had a flowmaster and the cats hollowed-out...I don't recommend doing that! That dynomax should sound great!

Actual free-flow cats are nice also, they provide more hp!
