for those of you who have magnaflows
I was considering having a FLowmaster 40 3" in and 2.5" dual outs, but thought it might add extra costs since its not the standard 2.25" our ranger are made with. I found this:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Magnaflow-12138-M...item4cf7647a84
magnaflow 12138
and thought the price is right but was wondering:
-has anyone bought from this seller, he looks legit, just asking
-anyone used this muffler or something similar.
any input is appreciate except those who say "flowmaster FTW"

Re: for those of you who have magnaflows
I have magnaflow SI/DO 2.5"
gives it a subtle, yet noticeable "growl" upon acceleration.
If your looking for something obnoxious, this is NOT for you.

Re: for those of you who have magnaflows
Believe that is the exact one I got. Nice rumble when getting on it. When just sitting in park or idle not so much.

I have the 2.5 I have a 3 inch flowmaster, just get the tapered pipes, I think I totalled out to about 30 bucks for the pipes I needed to make my flow work.

Re: for those of you who have magnaflows
i have a couple year old magnaflo that rattles really badly at idle and when the truck is warming up. could be any number of things, i'm just waiting on money to be able to replace it. the rattle is so bad that i can hear it inside the truck, with the windows up and the radio on. drive thrus are no fun.

Re: for those of you who have magnaflows
I haven't put magnaflows on my ranger yet, but my subaru had them, I loved them.
When I worked at a muffler shop we put them on a lot of rangers/f series and so forth, nice sound when you get on it and not too aggressive rumble at idle... stainless body and inner core pipe is nice to about them as well

Re: for those of you who have magnaflows
leaning towards this or the flowmaster 60. This would be better since it has 2 outs and flowmaster 60 has only 1 out, I like the sound of the flowmaster 60 but I want duals and There is no definite video of these magnaflows

Re: for those of you who have magnaflows
i have that same muffler. i got it about a week ago and love it. it can best be described as a nice deep rumble when excelerating but a "clean" noise, the truck just sounds alot better.
plus its street legal ha
