You know that a glasspack is essentially a straight piece of pipe, right?

Get a flowmaster 50 series. It will have the deep tone on your 4.0 without being too loud.

Headers, flowmaster 40, dual pipes. The key here to this great sound is a big 3" pipe from the Y-pipe to the muffler and dual 2.5" out, also 3.5" tips make it bellow at the end

It depends on which glasspack you pick brad. Here's my cherrybomb exhaust system and a few video clips of my exhaust. I've had it on there for almost 2 years now and it still sounds just like it did the day I had it installed.

Here is the day I had it installed:

Here's what it looks like today:

And here is what it sounds like:

Most people make the mistake on choosing which glasspack to use. The one that I use is 2.25 inch single inlet and outlet (stock pipe size for the 3.0) it's the 28 inch long glasspack and I had it dumped about one foot behind the cab. I asked when I bought the glasspack and had it installed that it will give me a rumly exhaust sound and since I got the largest glasspack it would only burn out with a V8. The installer confirmed what I was told word for word and so far they've been right.
