i have a 40 series on my 2.3l and it has a nice low rumble at 2000 rpms. kinda sounds just a little bit ricey at 3200 rpms. but overall i like the sound of it. go with a 40 series and make it a side exit in front of the back right tire.

No it's not, because your engine isn't really big enough to make that muffler extremely loud. I'd go with either a Hushpower II since it's lowered and you'll have a nice deep rumble to it and it won't cause ground clearance issues, or the 60 series Flowmaster because they're made specifically for small displacement engines like the 4 and 6 cylinder engines in general. they even have an american thunder system for 4 and 6 cylinder engines if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah it sure is, plus it will indeed get you a ticket too. I got pulled over 9 times in one day with that one. The other was a 40 series right off the header and with a tip only. I got "escorted" back to the shop with that one no sooner than I had it done. so please be careful, I don't want to see someone get an exhaust ticket on here and they're not pre payable fines either. it's a guaranteed court visit if you do get one.
