Default Loud truck for cheap??

I just lifted my truck and put big tires on it so I'm a little short on funds and not looking to get involved in a new exhaust system. Ive done some research but cant seem to find a good way that everyone agrees on will make your vehicle louder. Some people say exhaust tips will work, other say they wont. I also looked into glass pack exhausts. What would be my best option for giving my truck a deeper tone? My truck has a 4L V-6 if that changes anything. Thanks!!

An exhaust tilp does not add or modify anything but looks.

stay away from glass packs, but look into cherry bomb mufflers. They are less expensive then flowmasters and sound great. Magnaflows and gibsons sound nice and are decently priced but aren't the loudest thing out there. Obviously the cheapest is to just cut out the muffler, it'll still run alright and sound good because of all the freakin cats these trucks have.

Glass packs and gibsons = bad stuff. I recommend saving up, but if you NEED exhaust (like me) and have a strict (read small) budget, I'd go Mac. They make good V6 exhaust.

This is by far the cheapest route to take. Just cut it off right before the muffler. Then you can clamp on a cheap muffler and turndown pipe if u want.

do a muffler delete and keep your cats. run 2.5" from the cat and put a 3.5" tip on it. A nice big tip will make it bellow. Thats about as best your going to do if you have to pass inspection. Unless there is a db test...

Mufflers change noise. They have nothing to do with emissions, I could be wrong but I should pass emissions testing.

I don't know if they have them around you. But all of the meijer stores around me just cleranced all of there exhaust parts. I picked up a cherry bomb turbo muffler with all of the couplings and hangers for under $30. I shortened the exhaust pipe ( I left about 2' after the cat ) and bolted the muffler on there and just put a turn down on it. It is hiden under the truck a little bit but I could do a side exit infront of the rear tire if I wanted to. Super easy, cheap and sounds pretty good in my opinion. I also have a 4.0 V6 by the way
