Why not just get a custom exhaust job done?

Should only take a couple hours for a place to do it.

Re: Does any one know where to get a true dual exhaust?
Yeah my best friend owns a muffler shop and on a small truck like a ranger it would take him an hour, so im not really sure why you think it would take a long time?

You're not going to find true duals aftermarket. Custom is the only way to go here. Just be sure to add an x or h pipe.

X /crossover will help equalize the back pressureand give you a better sound,
as for 2 days I'd try the next town over.

haha sounds good i will try the next town over lol.
what do you think the average price for a custom exhaust would be?
i already order my cold air intake and i am thinking about getting a velocity stack but not sure if it will actually help or not.
and i plan on chipping it to get my mac performance

Re: Does any one know where to get a true dual exhaust?
Pal I've had every exhaust system there is to have except Magnaflow. The only way to get a true dual kit for the Ranger is to go custom. The longest and most I've ever spent in an exhaust shop was about 2 hours and about $250.00 bucks. Now if you had something like a mustang, or camaro then Magnaflow offers a dual exhaust in the form of a Cat back system and they aint cheap. So going custom is the best way to go concerning the Ranger, IMO.

No problem, glad I can help. Exhausts can be a tricky thing if you don't know where to begin. Plus sometimes concerning exhaust systems and set up alot of ideas come together and sometimes you end up with an idea over load. The only tip I can give you that will really help is, do or have the exhaust done the way you want it. Don't let others lead you astray with different products or ideas. Have it built to your own tastes, and the possibilities are endless.

You should have saved your money on the cold air intake to pay for your exhaust the intake won't do any better than stock one on the Ranger

Re: Does any one know where to get a true dual exhaust?
correct me if i'm wrong, but don't the 4.0's have a y pipe that collects both banks into one for the third cat? so for a 'true dual' you'd be going from 2 to 1, then back to 2? at least in CA that's how i've seen them.
