Flowmaster 40 and tips arrived today!
I finally ordered a flowmaster muffler and tips for my Ranger. It's brand new. It's quiet. Too quiet. And I'm not used to that. So the parts only took overnight to show up and I got a pretty good deal on them.
The muffler is a 40 Series Delta flow, 2.25" all-round, center inlet, dual outlet. Part # 9424422.
The tips are 13" long, 2.5" inlet, 3" outlet, slash cut (~45 deg.)
Part # 15263.
This will exit on an angle in front of the RR tire like the Lightning setup.
Should this void my factory warranty? I mean, it's just a muffler and a couple of tailpipes right?
Also, should I wait until after getting my oil changed at the dealer (next week) before getting this installed, or just go ahead and do it now?
Let me know what you guys think! Here is a picture of the setup, except the tip opening will be parallel to the truck body.
