Default Would there be a problem if i took off my cat, and just had my flowmaster?

I kinda want to take my cat off, and just have my flowmaster on there. I'm wondering if it would cause any problems? I have heard it may mess with my o2 sensors, or my check engine light will come on.
Will it effect gas millage or power?

So just wondering if it will mess with anything.

thanks a lot.

It shouldn't cause issue but it would smell somewhat like raw fuel. I suggest you search the forum, its been discussed multiple times.

Just take the cat off and bust out the inside with some rebar, just so it looks like you have one in case you get that one dick LEO that decides to check for one when he pulls you over for a noise violation. I know in Missouri its an 80dollar ticket for not having, found this out the hard way on a civic with a fart can when i was young and stupid...er. same effect but at least it looks legal.

Without getting into backpressure needs and loss of power in the usable power band I'll say go for it. it aint my truck.

That being said: mine runs WAYYYY better with a hi-flow cat and a Thrust than it ever did with an empty cat with/without muffler

it will make your car sound god awful. Cats cut out the rasp and drone very well, the only cars that sound good catless are muscle cars. A V6 will sound terrible. Get a high flow cat to replace it.
