naw. ive heard vids of CB glasspacks, and the trucks sounds pretty quiet if they got cats.
this guy has only one cat (probly gutted the other), and he run it the way i am: y pipe after the rear axle. i like it, rumble at idle and unnecessarily loud 3 grand and up

haha, cop better be gettin on his hands and knees to look under my car, even then, good luck lol

Glasspacks are loud, youtube videos are TERRIBLE for showing how loud something is. Glasspacks, resonators and bullets are essentially straight pipes with a bit of fiberglass (my SLP Loudmouth actually has 0 fiberglass and is just a wide resonator lol). Check out the SLP Loudmouth and Loudmouth 2 bullets, they are awesome.

it would have to be a custom setup. The Loudmouth catbacks are usually only offered on muscle cars, but the resonators can be bought seperately for like $80. The Powersticks are also just plug and play as they come in whatever size you want.

poersticks and loudmouths wouldnt have that popping sound you want just really deep. My cousin has a 98 5.4 liter f150 with true dual 12" bullets and its loud and deep but it doesn't pop lol

exactly. i just love the pop of cb glasspacks. i just frankly get tired of hearing a deep sound the whole time with my exhaust, so i like the pop of a cb glassapck as it comes off the RPMs

Not true. When I had JUST the Loudmouth catback, it popped anc cackled like a true muscle car, especially when coming off the gas. Take out the cats and add longtubes and it makes it even more definitive.

Only problem with straight pipes is the sheer volume for when he is hunting. I gotta say it again man, a cutout might be your best bet. You get that straight piped, loud and agrressive sound when you want it, and its quiet when you want it lol

well thats your opinion, not mine. plus i aint got the money to do all that. and for the loudmouths, i personally think those belong on muscle cars. thats absically wat they were made for am i right? and wat he means by straights is i think that ill run a single pipe into the cb glassapck, then y pipe it after the rear axle.

not trying to be a dick but try being more open to other peoples ideas.

on another note it seems that you go back to wanting glasspacks after what people suggest. id say throw them on if thats what you want. other than getting the cut out, exhaust is either loud or quiet and kinda in between, not much options for wanting loud and quiet.

thats just my thoughts. IMO glasspacks sound like shit on MOST things and and basically sound like straight pipes, i prefer a sweet tone from performance muffler.

what im saying is i think there will be basically no difference between 1 cat and a glasspack and 2 cats and straights. on those 302's and 351's the cats make all the difference imo

yea. my friend has a 88 with a 302 and no muffler. at idle, pretty quiet, but when he gets on it its loud. ill try flowmasters, but the main thing i dont want is that quiet idle.
