Re: anyone take exhaust off at the cats?
Removing cats will make your exhaust raspy and sound like crap up high in the RPM's (especially with no muffler). It sounds alright inside the car but outside it sounds like garbage. I am speaking from my experience with a 3.8L v6 camaro with no cats and no muffler at one point. Hell, even my T/A sounds pretty bad without cats and mufflers.
2006 Fx4 Level 2 with a 5spd, Superlifted on 33's.
