Smile Pros and Cons of moving tailpipe

I have a stock exhaust, with a flowmaster muffler. I was thinking about moving it from behind the passenger side back tire to in front of that tire. Seems simple enough and i don't think it will affect much at all. Was just wondering thoughts on this idea? or any helpful hints? And, if i do it, i'm going to put an exhaust tip on as well, any suggestions?

I did the same thing on my old '94. It did not change much except you can hear the sound of the exhaust in the cab louder.

I moved mine cause it looks better and I kept dragging my exhaust on hills.

I say chop it, dump it with the elbow coming out of the muffler.

both of my current trucks have the pipe moved in front of the passenger wheel....

my 96 has a flowmaster out to a rectangular tip....nice low rumble for a 4 banger

my 85 is straight piped out to a dual resonator tip....nice old school grumble
it was dumped straight out of a thrush welded muffler but it wasn't loud enough for me

i know there hasnt been a post on here in a while but i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to make my exhaust louder. i already cut the exhaust but i have 4 cylinder so i lose a lot of power with straight pipes and i have a cherrybomb muffler that im thinking of putting on. how far back should i cut the muffler? and any other advice would be greatly appreciated
