Default Need Help Finding Parts For Exhaust / Air Intake System

I want to find a exhaust system for my 2001 3.0 XLT Ranger. I want something with a clean, loud, and deep sound. I was looking at http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk...%26+Drivetrain.

My limit is about $1500. I would really like to have a true dual exhaust but I cannot find anything.

I need to find a set of headers, a new catalytic converter, Cold Air Intake (Which brand is the best for the money?) and any other item or part I need to install the Exhaust and Headers/Cat. If anyone can help me find the perfect set up for my truck while still being able to pass emissions I would be extremely grateful. Thank You!

If anyone else want's to post their 3.0 Setup or other ideas, I would be deeply appreciative. I want it to be LOUD but give me the most power returns. Thank You.

If you are wanting power then you need to look at stroking it, force induction of some type yet in the end the gains may not be worth the money. If its in your budget then do a 5.0 swap, personally Im planning on building the 3.0 and see what I can get it to push

The stock intake is already a CAI by design.

This

If you do a CAI, only do it for the looks, the sound, or to clean up engine bay room. Performance isn't goign to be there.

As for headers Summit has a lot of good brands. Hedman has to be one of my favorites. But I have heard that that the Summit Racing headers have thicker flanges than a lot of headers out there. HKS or Hooker maybe. Just throwing out ideas.
