Default Good Muffler

My stock muffler is pretty much shot. So I was wondering what is a good muffler would be to replace my stock one. Also I'm looking for one under about $40. Any suggestions? What about a Cherry Bomb glasspack?

Junk yard sales are gold for good mufflers under $40. A buddy and I snagged a Borla muffler and tips (2) for about 25 bucks. We ended up putting it on his old camaro, sounds great and still holds up.
If you're looking for a good sounding sleeper exhaust look into the 50series DeltaFlow from Flowmaster. I used that on a 3.0l, decent deep aggresive sound under hard acceleration.

Its been on the truck for a year. We went ahead and cut all the exhaust system off beyond the muffler. Its on and the exhaust comes out the side before the tire. It sounds great! It isnt loud when cruzing, great sound when you get on it, and has a great throaty gurgle sound whithout the poping or crackling. And ive only got a 3.0. With your 4.0 that thing would sound badass!

She got it off of amazon.com. I got a 2.5" offset in and 2.5" center out. There was a discount on it at the time and got it for $60 and free shipping. I just looked at some on there and it looks like it is around $77 to $85 depending on which size inlet/outlet you get and all.

I got a Thrush Welded muffler for 40 bucks. It is made of 12 gauage and fully welded. Has a nice deep tone when you get on it, but its pretty quiet just cruising.
