if you want the stealth look you can just dump the exhaust...check my photo album for pics.

You will get some reverb in the cab. It will give it a little more echo making it sound slightly louder. I like it for it being stealthy looking, plus cheaper and less to get damaged while wheeling.

Just a muffler shop could do it for you. But the OEM system really won't give you what you are looking for by just hacking some pipe off. Drop a few bills on a new muffler and a muffler shop should be able to do a dump tip on it for less than $50.

quick lube wouldn't do it iwould think they would only do oil changes and stuff if you want a deep throaty sound that you wont distract people with go with a 40 series flowmaster

JBA Cat-back exhaust system. Enough said. I've been through some good wheeling in deep sand, deep mud and slight rock and hard curb climbing. JBA is a very good producer for exhaust systems. I am both amazed and estatic at my exhaust. Great mellow sound and gets aggressive while in mid-deep to deep throttle. Very good Sleeper exhaust system. If you buy that system don't for get to buy a replacement gasket and don't be afraid to drill a little bit on your new system. Their "pre-drilled" holes are slightly smaller than what the bolts will fit in.

You just need to find a muffler shop around you, and have them change out the muffler. A cheap cherry bomb turbo muffler and a dump shouldn't be more than $80 max, and would sound alot better than what you have.

I would recommend letting the masses know what you are looking for, like 72 Nova blown lobber, or a nice deep grone, or to just liven up your exhaust. One big thing I notice that alot of people overlook is the little clunky airbox under the hood. It is designed to restrict air movement and the sound that comes there after. If you just wanted to liven up your exhaust the right way I would recommend a cold air mod, (just the basic kind will do), and get yourself a Dynomax, Thrush, Maybe even flowmaster muffler. This will give you a nice deep sprty sound. If you want rediculous pissed off Harley, then scrap the mufflers, get a y splitter with 2 2" pipes and glass pack each one.
This will give you that 72 Nova Cackle and Groan.

Notes, JBA is good exhaust, be careful with the cherry bomb mufflers, cars sometimes backfire allthough you do not really hear them, this can and often does blow a hole in the cherry mufflers on bigger displacement engines.
