Default I want a cut out.
Does anyone know of a good cable one? I saw Mr. Gasket ones that look good. Don't really want to pay 2 bills for an electric one. The manual ones look like a pain in the ass.

Any suggestions?

he's talking about the exhaust cut-outs that you open with a cable instead of having to either fork over some cash for an electric one or crawl under the truck and manually unbolt a plate.

Umm just cause I was thinking differently than you doesn't mean be an ******* to me Jp7. Cable cut outs aren't just a sound, it's increased horsepower..

It reduces back pressure on the exhaust how wouldn't it? Pretty sure that's why cars that run on a real track (1/4 mile) run straight headers with no muffler.

Yeah true, but most of them are either strictly track cars, or have built motors...and I'm almost sure JP7 isn't running straight headers, and look at his car...but I could be wrong

No I'm not saying JP7 doesn't know what he's talking about. Usually we do highly disagree on exhaust issues, but on this manner he is one of the most knowledgable on here. On your truck, an exhaust cut-out would do very little if any more than make more sound
