Hey all, this is my first time posting to this forum, got me a 1999 Ranger XLT 4.0 V6 last summer, and all is running great, but there are some maintenance and other issues the last owner didn't pay attention to.
The tailpipe is bent backwards, at a smaller than 90 degree angle, and there is paint transfer as if he backed into something.
The bend in the pipe also looks pinched,
and I was wondering how badly that was constricting airflow, and if I should saw off the end of the pipe just above the pinch.
I'm hoping to get a new exhaust eventually, but would a quick fix be appropriate?
