Default Advice on exhaust / headers

I have been thinking about installing a Magnaflow Offroad Pro series exhaust, High flow cat, and headers. Does anyone have a setup like that? Does it sounds good? Does it provide torque / performance increases? I know there are other systems out there, but I loved this really short pipe design, that dumps down before the axle. Magnaflow is the only brand ive seen that has that design. Any suggestions on headers? My goal is to make the engine breath better, and hopefully get more power

I can understand why no one answered the question since we have no idea what the hell you drive. LOL

Knowing specifically what yr, engine, even trim, would be most helpful. Dvrich would likely tell you in his most charming way to co to your user CP and add it into your signature "Year, 2.3-4.0L, XLT extended cab" to get the most help from people.

But, since you like the turn down at the axle, which is how we run our setup, I can show you which kits would be some options to consider. otherwise to narrow it down with your specific application.

You can always cut off above the axle as the pipe begins it's decent and remove that last 18" of dead pipe. Flamboyant exhaust tips went out with the Honda guys in the mid 90's.

Besides, if you're an advocate of the offroad it will get hung up on far less things.

MAGNAFLOW
Ranger/B-Series 3.0L-4.0L (1998-2011)

Ranger 2.3L (2019-2021)

MBRP, AFE, Dynomax, Flowmaster are other options we have to explore for Ranger exhausts, all comparable.

Right now we are handling quite a few pricing updates/product changes with our exhaust but the two above are up to date.

Pretty elaborate post since he never even posted that he had a truck, car, or an suv.

Well I figured it was either a Ranger or a Chrysler 200... I thought about it a little bit and the exhausts strangely fit across engine platforms.

I actually went to youtube to find a video with a Ranger having a custom exhaust......all the 4 bangers and 3.0/4.0 Rangers sounded like ricers. The F150 V6 Ecoboost engines sound terrible too, but not nearly as bad.

Some do for sure. A lot of times though. Its because the owners do additional things. Remove or punch out a cat, say they have one thing - But bought the Ebay copy of it.

You have to take some things above face value, everyone wants or looks for a shortcut.

Speaking of being shorted.. Why aren't you getting paid for being the official Post Greeter on this Forum yet? I think you're getting cheated my friend. lmao

I wonder if Tom would sell.... There's no official or functional dealer/vendor section any longer.

No ads, thank god. Oh, I guess the porn advertisers are on from time to time from Ukraine and the Philippines too.. No Brazzers or barely legal tho. LOL gawddd..

Just wondering why he's not actively on the site or at least in some manifestation we see his works and improvements on the site. Outside of Logan is it? The Moderator? I cannot believe he's the ONLY active mod even.

I mean if we could actually radiate the site with about 5000-6000mSv we could replicate completely the effects of Chernobyl here and truly see the effect of abandonment properly. Maybe even make a headline or two somewhere in the world stage. lol

----------

I know someones not going to see the humor in that..

They're just universal, that's why they're so.
