Default Catalytic converter simulator

This post might get me a little bit of flack from some of the liberals here, but Iím going to ask anyway.
I have removed my catalytic converter, for multiple reasons, but, my question is, is there something I can add to my exhaust to simulate having a catalytic converter so that my check engine light will not be on for the O2 sensor?

I was wanting to delete the cats on my 99 4L 4x4 and was wondering the same thing. I have the Torque Pro app and a BT OBDII, I wonder if you can turn that light off using Torque (or tuning softwate)?

If I remember correctly, a stand off fitting that pulls the sensor out of the exhaust stream does the trick but you have to have a bung in the exhaust pipe for that to work. I know they used to be out there but since I'm subject to emissions testing, never looked into the details.

I've never seen another solution for this other than the above mentioned method.
