hey yall I have a 2011 ranger sport with a v6. Fairly certain I have a hole in the exhaust somewhere. If im going to be replacing parts I may as well make upgrades. Just looking for some suggestions on headers, and exhaust systems. Possibly cat. deletes. Anything for good sound or a little gain on horsepower.

You can change the muffler for a better sound but deleting the cats will provide no benefit, is illegal, and will cause a constant check engine light.

The factory exhaust system is already tuned for best mid range power, in the 60's and 70's cars came with crappy restrictive exhaust systems so upgradding served a purpose. Modern cars are designed to get every ounce of power and efficiency out of them.

Your best bet is oem y pipe and cats, and then a cat back system like a borla or magnaflow to change the sound if you so desire.

Find and weld the leak shut.
