Default "Real" Dual Exhaust ?

Been thinking of doing a real dual exhaust system with headers and "X/H" pipe on my 2010 4.0 SOHC Sport 4X4.

Not a big fan of catback systems or mufflers that split into 2 tail pipes.

Anyone do this ? pictures ? Experiences ? How does it sound ?

Go to you tube and search. I am not impressed by any of the 3.0 and 4.0 Rangers with custom exhausts.....they all sound ricey to a certain degree. Don't waste your time, unless that is what you want.

Agreed, not a fan of any of the performance exhaust sounds. That's why I was wondering if headers and true duals would sound better.

It's an interesting question you posed,. However, I'm of the mindset where I don't really care if the exhaust sounds better so much, only care if they increase the performance of the vehicle. So I'm curious about anybody that has done this mod, if they can report any performance or horsepower gain?

I'm sure a free flowing dual exhaust system with less restrictive headers would increase poweer

This is the only video I found that actually sounds good
