Default header question

so i am doing some work on my 1994 ranger with the 4.0 V-6 and i am in a position where i could replace my exhaust manifold now i want to switch to headers and i was looking on line and was wondering if some one knows if these will fit on my truck

http://www.protuninglab.com/hds-fr97-40l.html

because as you can see they are a really good deal but it says
Fitment: 98-09 Ford Ranger SUV V6
98-09 Ford Explorer SUV V6 UN150/ U152/ U251
98-10 Mazda B4000 SUV V6
(Fits Models with 4.0L Cologne SOHC V6 Motors ONLY)

but i do know that my truck is the 4.0 cologne would they work or do i need to look for some other ones thanks in advance

Your 94 has the older 4.0L OHV not the newer 4.0L SOHC. The SOHC (single overhead cam) was available in 98+ Explorers and 01+ Rangers. Those will not fit your truck.

But would that affect the exhaust design in any way because i dont see how going from over head valves to a cam would make that much difference on the exhaust

Well. The listing says what it says for a reason I'd imagine. Additionally with headers, more is more. Cheapys will warp from repeated heating and cooling and it will be ticking like a fake rolex in no time.
