Default Exhaust help, 99 3.0

Hey guys, So I have a 1999 3.0 and need a new exhaust. It's a New England truck so different areas have been ravaged by salt and chemicals and the exhaust was barely hanging on. Last weekend I was driving on the highway and hit a pothole and next thing I know I see my muffler in my rear view. Now luckily no one was behind me but it made for an interested, and deafening drive after that. I got the tailpipe off and so it's just straight piped now. The inlet and outlet were rusted and I knew I was going to have to replace it, but I didn't expect the hangers to snap their welds like that. It's only been a couple days and I can swear I'm already going deaf. I need to get something on ASAP, especially before I get a ticket for it. I'm wondering what suggestions you guys have on exhaust setups. I'm thinking of going with a turn down right after the muffler since the tailpipe is getting pretty rough and it would cut out a little bit of the cost. My biggest issue is not having a welder. I'd do a full cat-back but again now welder and the old exhaust was welded on. The pipe going to the muffler is still solid and I'd prefer to just clamp on a new muffler. So my real question is has anyone had to do a system like this, wrecked by rust and more importantly, what hanger did you use? I can afford to pay someone to weld for me but I'd prefer not to.

And I apologize for the block paragraph. I had to copy and paste since this app keeps crashing and couldn't space it out.

Gibson cat back. No welding all bolt on. Sounds great.
