Default Re: Cherrybomb glasspack or cherrybomb turbo?

no problem, the extremes are $55. I think thats close to half the price of a flowmaster. I ordered mine from Jegs, you won't find this in the autoparts store unless you have a summit racing nearby. Unless you have some REALLY radical bends in that pipe I don't see changing it making a difference in sound.

When most people say cherrybombs sound like rice, their thinking about glasspacks not the wide range of other mufflers that they make.

i love cherry bomb. ive ran their mufflers on many of my cars and trucks and have never been let down by the sound or performance of them. I definitely can't complain about the flowmaster sound though. I've always thought they sound great. the complaints I do have about flowmaster though are the price, and the rust problem. They run about twice as much as most of the other competitive mufflers out, and last about half as long IMO. It has always seemed to me that my flowmasters don't last and always seem to rust out way before my cherrybombs do.

Try painting it....My flowmaster muffler has been on for 9-10yrs and still sounds great. No rust either.

Spray paint should work. Just get the high temp stuff for engines. They make high temp primer too.
