I've got a glasspack on mine and I love the way it sounds. Idling it's more aggressive than the stock muffler and a little louder. Driving is great, is pretty quiet it'll around 3k RPM's, but that's where it starts sounding aggressive. And even with windows up you can block it with a little music and doesn't really get obnoxious over time.
Just my $0.02.

Doesn't sound "manly enough"?
Do you think you need to compensate?

To make it sound "like it has a pair", first it must have a pair. Aint' a gonna happen with a Ranger engine.

Use Advance auto parts coupon TRT41 and it comes down to $163 plus tax. No drone in the truck on the highway and sounds like a V8 at idle. Everything bolts right in, no cutting or welding, takes 90 minutes pulling the old one out as one piece and installing this one.

Looks like a good setup for a reasonable price. The guy that welded in my straight apparently can't weld to save his life, one of his welds broke while I was driving. I bought a cherry bomb glass pack and my sisters boyfriend and I rerouted the tailpipe to side exit in front of the tire. Really digging that sound so far, but I do prefer a back exit tail pipe. So I think I'm gonna keep my setup for a while so I can spend money on other mods, then definitely look into that or something like it.

find a advance auto coupon and get you a thrush welded for around $30. Then like 50 bucks for a shop to cut weld it in and dump it under the truck. Cheap and sounds great.
